Opening a trunk: it's simple right? Not so much on this Chinese/Israeli Qoros 3. The mechanism is definitely not where you think it is.

Putting the latch for the trunk inside the wheelwell is just about the worst place I can think of. I imagine future Qoros owners having a hard time in the winter.

"Golly gosh, it's snowing so hard, my wheel wells have gotten all clogged with snow! I'd better get the ice scraper out of the trunk and clean them out OH WAIT NO THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE."

It looks like the Trumpchi's 'Tweeter and Sackbut' isn't the only evidence that Chinese cars still have a little way to go before being totally world-class.
