BMW just ripped the wraps off its 3.0 CSL Hommage Concept at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, and as a modern tribute to one of its most gorgeous cars, it’s… um… well... not so good.

BMW calls it “a nod to the engineering achievement exemplified by the BMW 3.0 CSL in its lightweight design and performance.” We’re calling it a puke yellow mess of angles that look more like a Chinese rip-off of the original CSL interpreted by a 6-year-old with a dull crayon.

The studio shots are nice, but in person, it ain't exactly a looker.

We’ll have more once BMW releases the details.

Thanks to Paolo for the pics!
