Ah, the Merv Griffin show in 1982. This is a true classic. It's also great that it's the awkward area of any decade that is still finding its own identity. There are some hints of later '80s in some of the clothing and sounds, but then you look at the set around them and realize that this could also be 1977.

I had always thought that What Do All The People Know? was from later in 1980s, like 1984 or '85, which I attribute to the synth heavy licks. I really like this live version.
