The Jaguar XE will be so connected that you can actually start its engine or climate control from anywhere on the planet using an Android or iOS app on your smartphone. If you're using a Windows Phone... why are you using a Windows Phone?
Remember the time we realized your Range Rover might know more about you than a car should? Well, Jaguar Land Rover just went further with the XE.
Being a Wi-Fi hotspot is not a big deal, most luxury cars can do that now. But Jaguar also promises the XE to to come with a perfectly working voice control so you don't have to touch its 8 inch touchscreen during driving. We shall see.
Also, with the Jaguar InControl Remote apps, users of iOS and Android smartphones can control a range of its functions including a seven-day timed pre-setting of the climate control system, locking and unlocking the doors and starting the engine. Yes, from anywhere.
Oh, and the XE also happens to be practically impossible to steal.
Hacking, cracking, driving. We'll get there.
