If this teaser for the 2015 Hyundai Sonata looks familiar, it might be because you've just seen the 2015 Hyundai Genesis. And that also means the all-new Sonata will look handsome when it's officially revealed next month.
The seventh-generation of Hyundai's midsize sedan will premiere in April at the New York Auto Show, and it's a pretty important showing. The Sonata, along with the Elantra, have been instrumental in propelling Hyundai up the automotive ranks and rivaling some of the best-selling midsize sedans.
Among the biggest changes for the new Sonata, Hyundai says it's now much stronger and made from more high-strength steel to improve stiffness and safety. They also say the interior will boast better displays, more logical controls and better quality.
All of those things are pretty much necessary to keep up with the pack. So we'll see what sets the Sonata apart from the rest of the mainstream sedans in the coming weeks.
