Remember when Ford just kept redesigning the first Focus for the US market instead of giving us the new one they got in Europe? Yeah, that was fun. Here's the 2009 car, and it's getting long in the tooth.
Why Ford felt that we didn't need the new Focus is kind of beyond me. We all started off on the same page, so what the hell happened? Why did we go off on our own tangent? Who knows.
Thing is, even in 2009, it wasn't really a bad car. No, it didn't really look all that great, but it drove fin. It just felt long in the tooth. Though it only has an Energy Impact Score of 12.2 barrels per year, which is pretty good.
