Ford loves the people. The people wanted a V6 Probe. Ford gave the people what they wanted.

The 1990 Ford Probe LX V6 took the 3.0 liter engine straight out of the Taurus and Sable, themselves shining beacons of performance driving.

Result? Look out! The Probe gets to 60 in an incredible 8.6 seconds and runs a blistering quarter mile of 16.5 seconds at a heart racing 85 MPH. This speed is worth the cost in the fuel economy department, says MotorWeek.

And check out that five-speed shift action!

Ok, you watch. I'll stop blabbering.

MotorWeek Theater is our showcase of some of our favorite classic reviews from public television's finest motoring program. How does this video only have 3,800 views? The Probe name should make a comeback.
