Given that the only one with a price listed on DuPont Registry is asking $30k more, I've got to go nice price.
Despite the listing appearing to have been written by an idiot, it's from the Fort Lauderdale Collection dealership, which is pretty much a mainstay of DuPont Registry.
The first 1:18 scale model I ever got was an XJ220 in this same color. I spent many hours of my youth studying the borderline pornographic lines of the body, marveling at the auxiliary gauges on the driver's door, and contemplating how the rear lower wishbones stuck out through the carefully shaped rear ground effects tunnels.
It is on the high end of what I've seen XJ220s go for, but at any given time, if what you want is a Jaguar XJ220, your options are limited. I voted nice price, but it really should be significantly cheaper. I just want it badly enough that if I had that kind of money, I'd be hard pressed not to at least think about buying it.
I say nice price as long as it wasn't used in the Fastmasters/Crashmasters [en.wikipedia.org] One of the STARNGEST racing events/series ever. $$$^3 Jaguars run on a road course made out of a 3/8" oval track with mostly retired NASCAR drivers?!?!
Fastmasters is all I can think of everytime I see a XJ220. I guess it was one way for Jaguar to get rid of the unsold cars.
If I lived in Europe. A summer car for crossing Montana, perhaps. But here in the States? Crack-pipe. Who wants to pay Gallardo 560-4 money for terminable turbo lag, a marked lack of agility at low speeds, and an interior that looks more like the inside of a '93 Ford Econoline conversion van?
The only good thing about it is that an engine rebuild might not be hugely expensive if you got it done at a Rover dealer. Oh, wait.
Ive had a diecast model of that car.. for umpteen years.
Its dark blue and its truely fabulous. One of the few concept Jags that made it into diecast 1/18 form.
As for as the bigger version goes.. I could sit and drool over this car.. for days / years on end.
TWO HUNDRED AND NINETEEN THOUSAND GEES.. for a fantastic concept JAG that should have gone into production (I think it was produced, but in very low numbers)
*gets on my hands and knees* This is one car.. I would not kick out of my bed.
Its definately worth it.
Definately more than that beat up SL from 25-30yrs ago from yesterday, with the bad chrome trim around the rims. Its definately better than that same SL without the indash entertainment...

It's still the middle of the night here, so I damn near choked on my rye when I saw your Shakespeare link. Now THAT is some funny shit right there, and I was not alert enough to be expecting it.
As for the car... wait, lemme go back and read that Shakespeare thing again.
Okay, now where were we? Right. Pretty kitty. Hey, speaking of pretty kitties... sorry, I'll stop.
I've always had a soft spot for the XJ220 (mmm, soft spots), but not for $219k. I'd still think it was worth it if we were somewhere around $100k, but this seems like a Barrett-Jackson price. Sure, there might be a few people out there willing to pay exorbitant sums like these, but it doesn't mean that's what the car is actually worth.
@Deartháir exists mostly to f*ck with new commenters: I missed the Shakespeare link the first time through (the color difference on link text is very subtle in FF), thanks for making me go back and look for it.

@JawzX2 Is Drinking Beer Right Now!: If the plan involves getting to sell the car and his business license for $110k (with "encouragement", if necessary), count me in.

For that money the smart Jag is an XJR-15.
