It's a macho truck for sure...

However, you can get it Cheaper, and with relatively little work, it'll look just like the one above.

    The four-banger's gas-powered. If it was a 5- or 6-banger diesel, it'd be a nice price. Alas, it isn't.

    Also, Schwarzenegger = Clarkson.

$18,950 seems a tad too high. For that kind of money I would try to get a gas Unimog and do some mods so it could make it up to highway speeds or just get a diesel Unimog. You can get the Unimogs in the radio truck versions with a nice enclosed box on the back which can be converted to a post-apocalyptic RV.

Anybody know if the Mercedes Classic Center carries Unimog parts?

Hey, Graverobber. Assent ≠ ascent. Just sayin'...

@Graverobber: I know. It's not like I don't make the same kind of mistakes all the time. Spellcheck (and the hamsters eating the preview button) has made it harder to catch these kind of errors. One day someone will come up with a spelling / grammar checker that will catch these right spelling-wrong word mistakes, but I don't think it will happen any time soon.

Crack Pipe. If you scroll down the ad, there's a link to another one same model same year for $7500.

Nice price - that's actually pretty reasonable for a well-sorted Pinz (yes, I periodically price them).

It's pretty cool and all, but at that price I just can't justify a 105hp 4 banger.

@superbadd75: Fun Fact: they take well to Megasquirt, and vintange Porsche nerds will commit war crimes for the Pinz' carbs, due to their tolerance for operating at steep angles/high Gs.

Nice Price, but I'm more worried about Mr. Graverobber now. It sounds like he may have some unresolved issues with both prom and Schwarzenegger.

That engine may only put out 105hp, but it has plenty of them torques- 180 or so, which in this vehicle is perfect for the trails. It is also simple and reliable, despite having dual carbs. Besides, you're not going anywhere super-fast on portal axles.

@jdoubleh is 'bout to get quadrazontal: It's still a much more reasonable vehicle to actually drive than, say, a Unimog. You could live with a Pinzgauer as a daily driver and actually do interstate speeds.
