    @maximum-sienna: Depends on the person. I belive Paul Newman was in his 80s when he last ran at the Daytona 24hrs.

    Geez, I dunno. Would the age exemption also include the half-senile nipple-pants set that on occasion confuse the gas pedal with the brake and launch their grocery getter through shop windows and unfortunate humans? You know, unintentional hoonage?

    @Orgasmatron: If you're over seventy, you should HAVE TO demonstrate that you can successfully control your car at 170 KPH, and earn the exemption, or you lose your license altogether.

    At 78, he should have claimed that he'd been trying to slow down for the past mile, but the brake pedal just kept making the car go faster.
