    A REAL modeler would scratchbuild a 1/8 scale Fiero space frame and motor to go under that body.

    @Tomsk 1.1: I have one as well and its still in the box. i hope 2 get it professionally built as i started the pocher 911 and umm it is also still in the box :(

    Ah, yes; Pocher. A colleague gave me his untouched 1/8 Rolls-Royce kit, which now sits in my basement.

    The kit--not the model. I finished the lower half of the straight-six before succumbing to a nervous breakdown. Amazing detail + horrible instructions - available alcohol = well, you get the picture.

    There are countless reasons why there are more virgin Pocher kits on this planet than completed models. Hats off to this bloke; given the workload is approximately the same, I'd rather dedicate my time to a vehicle I can ultimately drive...

    holy crap and i thought my in-laws were the oddest people in the world, aparently there are odder folks out there, like the kind of person who forks out $275 to make 1/12th size Borrani wire wheels to fit on their 1/12the size 250 GTO!!!

    The more I look at mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive cars with longitudinal engine/trans layouts, the more I want to build an Ariel Atom-esque MR track car with an EJ207 and a strengthened FWD Impreza transmission crammed behind the driver.

    Forged internals, 8250 redline, twinscroll turbo, low center of gravity, boxer rumble, mid-engine driving dynamics...
