    Anyone else notice that they labled the Norton as being German?

    @Jokermanpaco: I did notice that, but I wasn't 100% sure it was wrong. Norton is English, right?

    @Jokermanpaco:Alternate dimension. Alternate reality.

    But I'm pretty sure that a lot of those cars have magnetos.

    I don't know what's more awesome: the Borgward Hansa's looks, or its name.

    I had a handful of these when I was about ten, along with about thirty cards of different warplanes that were drawn in the same style. Unfortunately, my pre-hoon self couldn't appreciate them as they weren't listed as valuable by Beckett Monthly, so I went back to digging for Dwight Gooden rookie cards.

    Stop the presses! A 3 wheeled Reliant is a British SPORTS car!

    Hey, I suppose if it's good enough to be shot into space...

    Great post!

    I just thought I'd say that the "Cemo Turbo" is actually called "Socema Grégoire".

    Built in 1952, it was one of the first cars powered by a turbine engine. The only Socema Grégoire ever made still exists today and can be seen in Le Mans' automotive museum... And it's even more beautiful when you're standing next to it!

    Norton is a German motorcycle? Are you sure about that, Topps?

    Great cards - they're just lovely. And I'd be happy riding around in most all of M'lee's selection, except for the Dream Car. I hope that one never appears in my dreams.

    The rest of the cars on the fellow's web site are pretty sweet, too. Save for the shocking absence of vans. A lumber carrier is about as close as it gets there. Y'know, vans make pretty good lumber carriers...

    @Van Sarockin, rogue trebuchet: What, you mean the idea of rockin' some terrifying, rear-engined luxo-barge from a bizzaro-world future Detroit scares you? Come on, it'll be fun! Imagine, a Corvair the size of a Lincoln! With a four-foot rear overhang! Full of cast-iron V8! What could possibly go wrong?

    I like to think it's air-cooled & sounds like a Magirus Deutz being driven over a cliff...

    I like the descriptor text on them. While most are "jet styling!" or "record breaker!", my favorite is number 39, the BRM, which is "government backed!" (exclamation marks added for emphasis)

    I had some of these. Some for trains, too...put them on eBay a few years ago and got a decent stack of pennies for them.

    And look at that Triumph Roadster! Never seen before!
