The same storm that helped keep yours truly in NYC for an extra day also dumped enough snow on Cleveland to provide yet another fine example of a snow-covered car. We're sure that you're all working hard to make up for the work you skipped by watching our New York Auto Show coverage all last week, so this should be an easy one for most of you out there. For those who haven't played, the idea is to guess the car under the snow and answer in the comment. This includes make, model, year and trim level. Full picture below the jump.

Unfortunately, we've not had the kind of snow in the Chicago area that's been right for the Winter Guessing Game, which is why it took an early retirement and moved to Ft. Lauderdale. But we're in luck. If you were living anywhere near the Ohio area last week you ended up underneath more than a foot of the white stuff. New Jalopnik reader CyricTheMad went outside and found out that he probably wasn't going to be going anywhere anytime soon and, like any good Jalopnik, decided to spend more time in the cold, take a picture of it and send it in.

We had the pleasure of meeting one of the actual WGG players/submitters at the YES! display at the Chicago Auto Show this week. It was one of those random conversations where all of a sudden you realize that you known the person, at least in a digital sense. It also served as a reminder that I need to get myself out once more to the frozen tundra that is Chicago to get some more photos to share with the group. Not wanting to break anyone's computer, the headline was shorterned. We could have gone with another headline, but we're just so taken with our own cleverness that we couldn't refuse. The full title is the "What we see here, what we say here, what we hear here, stays here Edition," so let's hope that's a reasonable clue for some of you out there. The snow fall seen here is of the wet and clumpy variety, so any hood scoops or wings you might see underneath could just be optical illusions. Don't say we didn't warn you.

While many Chicagoans consider the recent lack of snow a blessing, we've been disappointed we haven't been able to bring you more Winter Guessing Games. But have no fear. No such luck today as this headline references place and not name. We can tell you that this snow covered ride is going to have a better chance at attracting snow than certain parts of the female anatomy, despite the Hogan yellow paint job.

We didn't get quite the blanking some of us hoped for with the last system, so today's winter ride isn't completely covered up. But what this lacks in snow cover it more than makes up for in commonality. It looks like every car made in the 1990s and will therefore require a specially trained eye to differentiate it from other models of similar vintage and body style. If you watched the Packers game last night you know two things: it's freaking cold in the upper midwest and Brett Farve wasn't actually on the ball. It's also freaking cold here in Chicago, which is why we're glad that Dr. Danger was cool enough to grab yet another photo of Bostonians under the weather (literally). A new system is moving into the Great Lakes region today so we should have more submerged cars for the future as we count down the days to the Chicago Auto Show.

We have another entry from the bandana-toting Dr.Danger, who managed to brave the thick snow and thicker accents to bring us yet another submerged transport from Red Sox nation. We can imagine the owner of this particular snowbound auto walking outside and querying aloud "Where did I pawk the damn caw? Ah, it's cold, let's go get some chowda." That's because most of what we know about Boston comes from watching Cheers and Mayor Quimby.

Some of you may noticed that the Winter Guessing Game took a brief hiatus while we were at the Detroit Auto Show (mostly because Wert would not let us go outside. "POST, POST, POST!" he would yell and then pelt us with sharp-edged swag key rings until we consented to do his bidding). We were going to chill the rest of the week on WGG until Dr.Danger stepped up with this shot of a nicely submerged sedan. You lads and ladies still remember how to do this?

We were going to pass on this reader-submitted winter guessing game entry because of the small size and just overwhelming cruelty of it, but sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. Right? It took about 12 hours of snowfall in Kitimat, British Columbia to bury this single stranded auto. Hopefully, the windows provide the proper scale to at least narrow down the category this submerged vehicle belongs in. Have fun.

When we left Texas, the sun was out and the temperature was still in the 60's. This morning it was in the single digits in Chicago and there were still a few flurries. Despite the frigid wind, we plan on facing the cold and trying to snap some seriously frozen autos. In the meantime, here's one from a mid-December snow storm that never made it into the competition. Just when you might have thought the Winter Guessing Game had gotten to be a relaxing daily challenge, something akin to a level 2 sodoku puzzle, we throw something harder your way. Though this photo comes from jolly old Chicago, that toddling town, the photo comes courtesy of Solo_Racer, who used to pilot this winter beater when it was too cold or snowy for motorcycle travel. It's cropped so devilishly we wish we'd have snapped the photo of this rusty classic. We'll give you a hint: it's not a VW Jetta.

Winter Guessing Game: Crawford Ranch Edition

An unfortunate trend in automotive design is the movement towards bland, predictable foglight assemblies (would you like circular or oval-shaped?). That's why we were so excited to see nature do us the favor of trimming this particular vehicle down to the perfect view of the front bumper. If you don't get it at first, you'll kick yourself when you remember there was a time you couldn't get away from them. Full photo below:

Today's ride was found in poor condition near Lake Michigan and, because you asked for it, has been devilishly cropped in a way to hide the most distinguishing feature.
