Someone please tell me how a no-cat downpipe helps the environment. Sure, you reduce the amount of palladium the Russians have to mine from Norilsk's infamous pits, but there is the small matter of nitrous oxides.
I don't begrudge the fun, but hacking up a carefully designed emissions system seems somewhat less than "green". #s2000

I had looked into public transportation options here on Long Island, and while there is a train I could take, I would have to spend 1 1/2 hours (and $12), then $6 and 45 minutes on a bus, and then another 25-35 minutes on a shuttle. That's over two and a half hours and $18, EACH DIRECTION, not taking into account the hassle of dragging my giant architecture models all over town. No thanks, I'd much rather spend 1-1 1/2 hours driving myself there, at a cost of $4.35 each way. #s2000

but the rEcycle gets it done and more looks than anything I've ever ridden/driven.

I would do the same as him if I could commute with public transport. But I would in no way hoist some ridiculous idea that I am creating my own 'carbon offset'(whatever the h*ll that really is) by taking the train.
We humans consume resources to exist. The only way to change that is to kill yourself.
The moral of the story?
Live is short, drive fast. #s2000

How the hell do I run THAT through an eco-impacto-meter? #s2000

in Boston, for example, many thousands of people forego sitting in traffic for the commuter rail - which goes as far out as maybe 100 miles, and has wifi and big, comfy seats. those folks don't live in cities either. [www.mbta.com]

If that's an S2000...fine. If it's an Excursion...well, you should rethink your priorities, but I'm fine with that, too.
However, for many of us, long commutes are part of the program and mass-transit is merely a concept.

I don't think there are many more JDM sports cars better than S2000 tho. #s2000

I am now taking applications for vehicle donations, those who wish to ditch their daily drivers and buy a sports car for the weekend. I have to drive 30miles to get to school everyday and would love to get rid of my piece of crap commuter.
Just think of the reduction of pollution from me driving your car instead of you.
Please contact me with the type of car you currently drive and I would be happy to take it off your hands for you.
Cordially,
