Crack pipe only because there was just a very nice one on eBay for $12,500. These are very cool cars but the market is razor thin. You can't deny the law of supply and demand.
I dunno... four grand would be a Nice Price for what you could get for the parts that're still on it. It's a bit of a Crack Pipe if you intend to restore it, though. But look at it! Just as it is, if you sold off the interior bits, fabbed up some half-ass door skins, and parked it in your yard, you'd be a local celebrity. It's beautiful.
I've seen plenty of '50s H-Modified cars with the Panhard engine in vintage racing. They are, in a word, sweet. Yeah, they're 845cc, but when the exhaust system is set up right it sounds like a swarm of honeybees who have somehow managed to get high on meth. If I had four grand burning a hole in my pocket, I'd turn this car into an H-production vintage racer just so I could hear that exhaust note.
@Novaload Misses Murilee: I seem to remember that Junkman offered a Panhard to any LeMons team about the time that Evil Genius Racing started their "Black Ops" project, hmm.....
I've never tried to source parts for a Panhard, but if I had one, and it needed some of the few parts that this one has left, it'd probably be a nice price. As it sits, the car will never be a cost effective venture to restore.
Slide on up to the Panhard Bar, but you better make it a double, 'cuz this thing has crack pipe written all over it.

Any car that's pretty enough to turn the Panhard Booth Professional into plastic is okay with me!
I'd pay twice that for a car that could turn my ex into plastic!

What the hell is wrong with all these "voters", anyway? Four thou is a pittance!
