In the Belgium harbor of Zeebrugge, 175.000 new cars are waiting for clients. It is the largest parking area in the world; 742 acres.

Hmm... There is a cubic buttload of unused shipping containers right now just sitting around stacked and empty.

You could probably roll a couple Toyotas into each one and then stack 'em Wall-e style.

The grand prizes, this year, for Tim Horton's "Roll Up the Rim" contest, are 35 Toyota Venzas. Every single person I've heard comment on it at a Timmy's has said some variation of, "That's the grand prize? Fuck, I hope they have a cash option if you actually win. I wouldn't even be able to sell that thing, nevermind drive it."

They contacted several race tracks and military bases, but were laughed at and mercilessly mocked.

In English, it roughly translates to "Get that boring shit off my track!"

How about just stop producing cars?

Or even better, not spend money on renting a shipping vessel and give away the cars to needy for good publicity?

I dont know. Putting it unsold cars on a ship seems like a bland, vanilla solution.

Instead of giving the cars to the needy, lets give them to people that have good credit scores, and bought mortgages they can afford, and did everything right. The "needy" are already getting mortgage bailouts and free healthcare. Let's see some rewards for the responsible, hard working joe for a change.

In Boston, behind my condo building, Subaru has somewhere between 600-1000 vehicles sitting in what they told the neighborhood association, was temporary space, which means they have another 2000 or so in their regular holding location on the
