The Euro Civic looks so much better than the one we get overhere. But the average buyer in the US gets confused when a car doesn't have a separate trunk.
@sos10: I often hear the "trunk separation" brought up when people argue against hatches and wagons.
I went and bought a rotisserie chicken Friday night, put it in the trunk, went home within an hour, and my car still smelled like chicken for two days. Modern trunks (especially with folding seats) are far from hermetically sealed.
I just don't care for the aerogami style. At all. The older they are, the more I like Hondas. I just can't relate at all to the newer ones. I guess I'm just not cool anymore. Oh wait..., I never was.
@mytdawg: I agree, the old CRX has dated quite well, still good cheap fun cars. Where as the newer ones (Honda's) aren't fun to drive, they would do well to bring back the CRX & Integra in my opinion.
This should be the Fit, IMHO. I don't dig that mid-90s GM lightbar rear end (Aurora?), but the car seems pretty solid. I wonder why the US is stuck with the Dustbuster design.
That rear seat folding trick above is pretty sweet. I don't like having to use the trunk/hatch area all the time, especially for heavy stuff (weight distribution). Sure would be nice top be able to stack everything between the axles instead of all the way in the back.
As facelifts go that's subtle, just hope they've sorted out the unreliability which mainly caused problems with the diesels. Oddly enough the main Honda dealer near to where i live has just gone bankrupt.

Oh, and I really like the new U.S. Civic. But hatchless=Fail.
My bright idea is a tiny compressor for the Fit...something that adds 20-25 horses on-demand but doesn't hurt gas mileage on the highway.

However, this updated version has me reevaluating my opinion . . . nope, still not working for me.
