    @VolvoFiend: Banned. You too sciontc. Find more creative ways of insulting me other than insinuating Paramount's paying me something to like the franchise. Totally false. If you read our coverage of the first movie two years ago, you'd know my love of TF is because of Optimus Prime being like a surrogate father to those of us who were latch-key kids. So do your homework next time and make your insults intelligent in some way.

    @Ray Wert: Further to that, Ray, I'll try and find you a link to an earlier rant of mine, but here's the short version:


    I think we all know I like to take pot-shots at you (and sometimes Wes, depending on whether he's being a tease or not) more than almost anyone; in doing so, though, I try and always be witty about it, and thus far you've always taken it in extremely good humour and even fought back quite well. For that, I respect you (and, well, I mostly just admire Wes' ass), and try and convey that when I take pot-shots at you.


    But Jeebus, there have been a lot of people coming in and making snide comments lately. It's almost reaching the point where I feel like I need to defend you.


    Almost. Not quite.


    And, similarly: Unless of course you hate giant freakin' robots. And America.

    I wonder how much Roy Wort is getting paid to jack off this motion picture cause seriously, I just clicked on the "transformers 2" tag and he's way, way out front on the contribution list. It makes me wonder if he owns stock in Viacom, Paramount's parent company.

    Watched it in IMAX Waterloo last firday, first show at that theatre for that movie. I enjoyed it, very, very robogasmic, a good transformers film.
