    Back in high school, the T/A was insured as a luxury car while the Camaro was classified as a sports car, so there was a huge difference in insurance premiums. While this version won't enjoy that added bonus, I have to say this kicks some serious ass in its own right. Hopefully it will look a little bit less like a Mustang when they actually build it... or is that just the picture angle?

    They need to work a little harder on the squircle headlights in order to make them match the 1970 design a little better, but even so, I love it. And I fucking want it.

    Let's see: GM's euthanizing Pontiac because it couldn't make money rebadging Chevys, so let's rebadge another Chevy and see what happens. Sounds like a business plan to me.

    This is not a GM-backed project, just like most ASC works. It is a private venture to capitalize on the fact that a great many people loved Firebirds, and wish for a new one. They may not have an official Pontiac, but ASC will offer them a high-quality transformation without doing anything to void the powertrain warranty.


    That is a "win" in my book.
