So:
Tailgate, never designed of course to support this, destabilizes and mounting brackets may or may not shear off--either way, foot flies up, takes out rear window and, as trailer continues to tilt, jacks up vehicle via roof in an ass-up jack knife; which, at speed, would also allow trailer to travel forward and steer vehicle wherever physics takes it.

The proximity of the trailer to the rearend of the truck makes it appear that this rig is for going straight, and that only gentle arcs are to be taken.
