    I tend to not pay attention to traffic lights. I like to make my own rules. I'd be fucked if I ever acknowledged a red light, or even used a blinker when I cruised through a right hand turn at a red light. Why should I have to let the man keep me down? 'Cause he owns the roads I drive on? Yeah, whatever, fascist.

    I've seen #12 used a few times (in England I think). Tend to be used at construction sites where only 1 lane of a 2 lane road is open (there is a pair of them and they in effect serve as flagmen).


    The Aussie countdown clock is all kinds of awsome though.

    @MyDinnerWithAndreDawson: Actually I've seen some digital count down clocks (in secs) in New Delhi, India when I was there last year for a business trip. They actually counted down the seconds to Red AND the seconds to green. It was pretty damn smart as you could slow down pretty early, instead of a yellow just flashing up. And shut down the engine (lot of people where doing that) if it's an especially long red. And of course rev your engines, before green. It was almost like a F1 countdown!

    @Formerlythegreatestdriver: Here in SLC there are countdown timers on the crosswalks that more often than not coincide with the coming of the yellow. So approaching a green light you see that you have 3 seconds until it changes.

    @JamesHunt||ShhhI'mHuntinWabbits: I like it too. The only problem I am having is with the comment formating. There is a weird gray dot next to each comment and the comments are all indented slightly. Also, collapsed comments don't have a box around them. This only happens in gallery articles, and it is only an oddity that isn't affecting the functionality.


    This is in IE7 btw. Yeah... I know... I am not allowed to use anything else at work... :(

    @Scandinavian Flick and @Jo Schmo: I don't understand why so many businesses insist upon using such an archaic browser. After being forced to use IE6 at the Toyota dealership, FF3 at the shop has been a godsend.
