    Oh thank GOD.

Now, cut the head off and burn it, and bury the body under moving water. It's the only way to keep it from coming back.

Or is that for vampires? Whatever, if you wanna keep things that suck dead, moving water. Remember!

BOOOOOO. While not a fan of the styling, I really liked what the A-BAT was about. Small, efficient, flexible pickup? WHERE DO I SIGN?

Oh, wait, nowhere until Mahindra gets running here.

@TV's Paul Y.: I agree, but I guess there is not much of a market for small efficient pick up trucks, sad to say. I wouldn't mind one, but that bat thing is still too ugly to live.

@JDisnidiet: I don't think that there's no market-- it's just that the only competetor (sp?) in that market is the aging, lackluster Ranger. A good, modern small truck would have plenty of takers.

Can we, as an automotive world as a whole, trade in the soon to be produced Scion iQ for the lately late Acura NSX? Is that possible?

As for the A-BAT, it could've been kinda cool. Not really cool for a truck, but cool for every douche that lives in my suburb that doesn't need a truck but wants one, and also thinks they can single-handedly save the world. Oh, while being boring and reliable at the same time. Kinda like Al Gore. Or, exactly like Al Gore.

Seems like a mistake, but whatevs. The Scion is probably harder to do, and the PU-hybrid a more straightforward conversion. So they can revisit the decision and put it into production quickly if the market for pickups continues to strengthen.

I hear Toyota can sell you a hybrid right now, if you really want one.
