Australian Toyota HC-CV Concept Dangerously Close To Cool |

If Toyota wants to render anything cool, they're going to have to start from something less lukewarm than the Camry.

Because no way does this come from the same design philosophy that birthed the intrepidly ugly RX350.

Seriously? Cheese-grater wheels? With blue-stripe tires? And silver taillights? And why are there glowing holes in the bumper?
Besides, it's still got that wart.

This think looks plastic and sterile. Almost looks like what a Star Wars stormtrooper would drive on vacation.

This...this does not live up to that expectation. Somewhere a solitary tear runs down Paul Hogan's leathery face.

I'll take three of those please, Toyota.

Toyota Australia, rebelling against their Japanese overlords, have produced a spiffy concept car for the Melbourne Motor Show.
The HC-CV (Hybrid Camry Won't Ever Be Built Like This) sets the stage for the launch of Australia's decline into battery/gasoline hell.
The president of Toyota Australia said this will be the most important vehicle on their stand at the motor show as it will keep people from falling asleep when they get within eyesight of the rest of their offerings.
The rest of the press release describes the car's body in excruciating detail. Toyota's PR people should be hired to describe Megan Fox's body.
No performance figures were given, proving that Toyota really doesn't care about car people.

I do have blog. Its been a bit more serious than I am here and, for some reason, covers mostly politics. Although, I am going to start posting more car stuff. The address is in my profile.
