    Also: I really wonder if they've thought the aerodynamics of this through. I'm worried for them in a rocket-powered Lincoln kind of way.

    @Rand: they're not 'holders' in the usual sense... i believe the consist of velcro straps that affix to anything on the interior..... WAIT Strike that from your memory... i have an idea.........

    i'm thinking i need to check this show out... having grown up in tornado alley... and getting that wonderful book 'night of the twisters' read to me as a part of the 3rd grade 'story-time', just 9 years and 60 mi. away from the actual incident, in late march/early april (start of tornado season) somewhat scarred my mind...


    scarred it with that interest to be closer to those things than i should be... and yeah.. i've been near them and seen what they do... and am still interested.. (and not just in the 'aftermath' sort of way)

    @Charles_Barrett - Now with Variable-Valve Timing: no, no, no..... the parents of my classmates really enjoyed the fear that was stricken into their children (("STAY IN THE BASEMENT!!!"))


    at least we had the re-assurance of nuclear fallout shelters and *warning, asbestos insulation* throughout the schools. we were/are fine... hahahaha.. just fine

    @General_Zad's_Chicken: They never even came close last year and this season isn't looking any different. D-Bag Sean (the TIV guy) plays the show's "rebel" and doesn't like to follow the meteorologist's (Dr. Joshua Wurman) advice when it comes to storm chasing...
