Audi A3 A4
BMW 1 & 3 series
Ford Fiesta Focus Mondeo (both coming soon)
Peugeot 207 307
Renault Clio Megane
Skoda Fabia Octavia (but only in VW Jetta form)
Vauxhall Corsa Astra Vectra (Saturn Astra and Aura)
VW Polo Golf Passat

By contrast, an A3 is 17% less than an A4; Corolla is 20% less than a Camry; Civic Si is 17% less than Accord V6.
The comparison isn't perfect, but I still think both 1 series cars are egregiously overpriced when you consider the price of getting into a 3 series.

Top 10 Not-in-Fantasy-Land Relevant Cars from Detroit:
1) Ford Focus
2) Chevy Cavalier
3) Escape Hybrid
4) Malibu/Malibu Hybrid
5) Fusion/Fusion Hybrid
6) Chrysler T&C/Dodge Caravan
7) Impala
8) Crown Victoria
9) Aveo
10) Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel...to be cancelled
Depressig, but relevant. I dislike most of these vehicles. Malaise is here again.

Or do you mean Cobalt? Wouldn't want to put words in your mouth.

BMW 1 (sort of, not the full range) & 3 series
Vauxhall Astra Vectra (as Saturn)
VW Golf Passat
Quite the contrast... oh, and we don't get a Diesel option on most of them.

Otherwise, I would agree.

The Caravan, T&C and the Odyssey basically own the minivan market

I can't even remember the last time I saw a "new" mini van.

Sorry guys. If you are going to use the word relevant perhaps you should mention autos that a person can actually buy today.

No, and nobody has STATED they were (fuel cell), and shown a production ready version, and sourced all the parts, and driven around in mules, and started readying a plant....etc. GM has.

GM knows how to build an electric car. They also know how bad it'd be for them to release the Volt.
Hold your horses, mate.

The 2010 Fiesta may be significant, but it won't be so here. The Ford rep told me that it will hit as a 2011 model, in fall '10.
I still love the Transit Connect, although the Piloti-interior-ed one was a bit much.
What's the dig beal about the 2010 Town & Country? Have they added more squeaks and rattles? New Blow-N-Go floor cubbies for vomiting children?
Everything else on the list has a kind of "seen that, meh it's okay" feel to it. But then again, it is Automobile.

But maybe this might be a fun project in my now almost worthless Freestar. Bet my kids would enjoy being able to watch the road that way as well.

I dunno, I think the Charger iss a fairly relevant product, as is the Avenger. I see TONS of the things on the road here in SoCal, but I've seen maybe ONE Sebring. I don't see many 300C's these days, either.
But TONS of those fucking Chargers and Avengers.
I can see the Dodge brand possibly surviving, but frankly, I think Chrysler is very much on its last legs.
Good riddance to Sebrings and Cab-Forward FWD design.
Hurry, buy your Challengers and Vipers while Chrysler's still in business!

I guess they had really easy financing and were cheaper than a civic.

I can just see the commercials now.
Cue "The Mexican Hat Dance"...
Customer: You know what I love about fun, small cars?
Customer2: uh, Everything! [high five]
Customer: Could fun imports get any more kickbutt than this?
Narrator: OH, THEY'RE ABOUT TO ALRIGHT! NEW at your local Ford Dealer, the FORD FIESTA, built in MEXICO! (mexican hat dance swells)
We take a delicious sporty, european compact, smother it in American nationalism and loose NAFTA laws, add a few hundred pounds of US-safety mandated guacamolito safety fat...
Customer: Can I drive it now?
Narrator: Sure! ...BUT NOT BEFORE we fill the interior with Pico De Gallo!
Customer: Wow!
Okay, I ran out of ideas of where to take that but good god, Fiesta. In Mexico.
Damn, that's funny. And incredibly stereotypical.
That'd be like selling a vehicle built in Canada the Chevy Hoser or Ford Moose.
