Slight threadjack related to Porsche and photos. We lined up all the Porsches for a photo shoot here at Laguna Seca today between turns 3 and 4, So I took a quick vid of them during staging. I had to do it quickly but I hope your favorite is there.

By any chance, could you help me identify this Porsche that I saw in the pits at the Nurburgring a few years ago? I don't think it's a 917 (though it could be a hillclimb variant), but doesn't really look like a 910 either.
Someone should make one for the heck of it. I have an unhealthy obsession with shooting brakes/wagons and whatnot. I'm sure the folk at Stola will be happy to have a go. It's not like they're doing anything these day.
Having worked with Maya for a semester, I can say that these guys have done some pretty good work - definitely better than what I could have pulled off.
On that note, here's a video of a dog in a garage that I modeled, animated, and rendered:

Well now somebody has to build it! Does anyone remember the 1552 designs Jetta two-door? It started off as a rendering and ended up looking great in the flesh. Now that I look at it again, it seems a little dated but I remember really liking it in 2002 but probably because I owned my own Mk II Jetta coupe at the time.
@Joshman Nanzaret: I do remember that. I recall feeling that the doors weren't quite long enough to make it look quite right to me (though they did swap them out, instead of using the original [short] front doors).
"They all have way too much free time on their hands" was my first reaction. Then I read further, and at least two of these guys are interns, so they are, you know, free (well, relatively, but you catch my drift).
Anyway, I never did look at the original post because I'm not at all interested in anything Porsche makes.

TG Usa.com is dead?
Yay!
That ugly abomination is fake!

That sucks! I guess TG doesn't have any hot interns. Just a bunch of nerdy geeks with too much time on their hands.

Also, was that a rather bubbly Panoz Roadster?

Still, the workmanship was fantastic.
