    What, no manual? Yeah, I know that almost no one would actually order one, but a stick is good way to build interest and image with enthusiasts and the car rags. And we all know how badly Buick needs to improve it's image, because calling a reasonably sporty entry-lux car "Regal" is a bad first step in drawing the interest of anyone under 65. #buickregal

    @Chrisnyc1213: Appearances are subjective. I don't think the Regal is ugly, or the Taurus good looking. The problem is, the Regal is about as bland as they come. Look at it.

    I admit, the base four is probably less efficient than a Milan (plus that's available with a stick). But the turbo four is in an interesting place between fours and sixes - like an I5, without the weird exhaust note #buickregal

    @Ford Tempo Fanatic: Sadly, the only car GM makes that could really compare to the Taurus is the impala, and well, that comparison isn't even worth making. It would be better to compare the g8, but we are unfortunately running out of those. This is to small to be compared to the Taurus so that leaves the new Lacrosse for that comparison since all GMs other options aren't worth it. #buickregal

    @tonyola: Except for the last remark (something about Tempos and awfulness, that I frankly do not understand at all), I'm not seeing anything negative here.

    That said, I'd still rather have a diesel Tempo (with all fifty two sick horses) then the nicest of nice Toyota Regals. #buickregal

    I saw "two engines" and thought, is THAT what it's gonna take? Oh, misread, never mind.

    220hp? Is that all? Screw that, I'd dig into the controls and go find that other 40hp that got left in the Cobalt. Then I'd weld those damned rear doors shut.

    Then I'd set the damned thing on fire and go looking for a good one. Say, the sneaky '83 T-Type.

    If it can even evoke a memory of muscle greatness, I'm not gonna get dragged around by the front end. #buickregal

    Looks interesting, and I hope Buick can sell these to the non-geriatric crowd. I know everyone jokes about Buicks as being Grandpa cars. Well, having owned and driven a low-mileage '94 LeSabre for the past 18 months, all I can say is that on occasion Grandpa has the right idea. May Buick find the right track and prosper. #buickregal

    That is amazing. Good find. Additionally, you can listen to Garrison Keillor's musical tribute to Chesley Sullenberger III et al. The rhyming is a bit tortured, but he does manage to name the entire crew. Pretty fun.

    @powermatic: Awesome. Forget about bugattatra. Don't know what his issue is. Clearly he has no sense of class. Thanks for sharing it. I only get to hear the show once in a very rare while. Seeing Garrison Keillor live at the local back-from-the-ruins theater was a great experience. Reading The Book of Guys an eye-opening experience. And listening to Dusty and Lefty is a gut-busting experience. #planelopnik

    @bugattatra: No sweat. In my NPR listening career, I've gone from steady PCH, to never PCH (too many fart jokes, an audience way-too-primed to laugh at anything) to now an occasional listen if I'm in the shop. I just happened to hear this 'song' at the peak of Sulley Fever, and thought it was clever-and I did like how he named everyone involved. I'm still there for Click 'n Clack, and Wait Wait though-that's some funny shit. #planelopnik
