If they can successfully structurally put a Viper engine into a PT, it'd only be a short step to displace the Hemi in, err, on this:

A few more suggesting for future Viper engine projects here: [thecarnut.typepad.com]

Yeah, I know, I'll probably put my eye out, but I'm willing to take that chance.

There's some damn awesome vehicles there! My faves would be the Tomahawk, Defender, Sniper and that Jeep CJ! However, you missed one of my other favorites: the Dodge Ram T-Rex concept. Come on, Viper v10 connected to 6wd!

@ShotgunAlex: I'm pretty sure the T-Rex Concept used the standard iron block 8.0L V10 from the regular truck line, although you could argue that its a Viper motor in a way.....

There's a PT Cruiser with that same paint scheme around here.

    I think it's just a 2.4 turbo, though. Shame.

    Anyway, I found your Defender...

    PT/10 Cruiser???

Ya... because 465+ lb/ft of twist in a Neon chassis designed to handle less than 1/4 of that is SUCH a great idea.

Personally, I'd put the Tomahawk a bit higher on the list. After all, who would expect the actually company to do something as bat-shit crazy? I don't think custom shops are even that insane.

Those were the glory days, alright. When Chrysler just didn't give a damn.

And if you add the 300 concept, I nominate the Firepower.

The PT/10 Cruiserpage is cool but you can't put the tailgate down to get better fuel economy.
