<![CDATA[Bask In The Healing Rays Of The Risky Business 928!]]> The Forney Museum in Denver is mostly known for having one of the world's few surviving Big Boy locomotives, which ranks among the most terrifyingly huge and powerful land vehicles ever built. But who cares about a 6,200-horsepower steam locomotive when, under the same roof, one can find the actual '79 Porsche 928 driven by Tom Cruise in "Risky Business"? The Forney is packed full of other wonderful machinery, including an Amphicar, a brace of real AC Cobras, a whole bunch of early-20th-century iron, and a GM prototype '70 Cadillac station wagon, but the awe inspired by such close proximity to the Risky Business 928 may short out all the circuits in your brain, rendering you unable to appreciate the other cars. <![CDATA[Days of Thunder! eBay Bonanza!]]>

In 1994, there was a girl. She was coveted by numerous boys at the fortnightly college paper. She was aloof, engaging, pretty and goofy with a sadistic streak that'd skin you crosswise if you tried her patience hard enough. She had precisely no idea how hot she actually was. In 1994, there was a chair. It was covered in a strange, sickly '70s green monochrome tweed that bordered on burlap covering the padding on a white fiberglass shell. It had wheels. The girl tended to sit in this chair. My friend Matt and I would — sans warning — grab said chair and hurtle her across the newspaper office yelling "DAYS OF THUNDER!" I also tended to crash her into walls, which she later attributed to my own sexual frustration at her not putting out. In the meantime, Tom had a baby with Katie Holmes. Christ. The Ice Storm came out a decade ago. Buy one of Cole Trickle's cars on eBay.

<![CDATA[Tom Cruise Makes Mission Possible In Video; Opens Door Of Bugatti Veyron]]>

You know we kinda thought the biggest issue facing TomKat, even post-baby Suri, woulda been getting those rumors of Cruise trapped in the closet finally out of the picture. Well, problem is, now it looks like Katie's the one who's trapped — in a Bugatti Veyron. Last weekend at the star-studded opening of Cruise's new big-budget blockbuster, Mission Impossible 3, Cruise found himself faced with his own impossible mission — opening the door for his new baby momma. Let's see if he's up to the challenge. Dun-dun-dun-duh-dun-dun....

<![CDATA[Tom Cruise Pilots Saleen Mustang Through NYC]]> If you watch Access Hollywood as much as we do (just Spinelli really) you would have seen Tom Cruise's crazy tour of New York City the other day as he visited three premieres in one day. But the kicker was he drove, flew and "cruised" to them in all manner of vehicles including a new Saleen Mustang S281. Now, he also stood on the hood of a new Cadillac Escalade with co-star Laurence Fishburne but if you were an automaker would you rather see a mega-celeb in leather jacket racing your sports car through Manhattan or on the roof of your SUV looking like a fool?

<![CDATA[Tom Cruise Picks MI:3 Vehicles, Chooses Ford Over GM]]> We all love Tom Cruise. Well, not love like actually respect or enjoy his career any longer. But love in the fact that he makes our jobs so much easier. In a lengthy, and regurgitated, story about how cars are more involved in Hollywood than ever before we get a little gem near the end. It seems Mr. Cruise is very involved in the making of his films. While some male stars insist on approval of the female lead, Mr. Cruise wanted the right car for his character to espionage around in. GM tried its magic on the man but his will proved too strong. Ford brought in the big guns of Bill Jr. and Cruise could not resist his Jedi mind tricks. Don't believe us? Uh...Cruise is hanging out of a Land Rover LR3 above isn't he?

<![CDATA[Cruise On Self-Destructo Bust]]>

Crank the Turbonegro and fire up the censored gay porn DVDs, 'cuz Tom Cruise is on a rampage, glorious mofos! Reader Spencer hipped us to the latest goings on in Hollywood, where everyone's favorite couch-hoppin' Peter Graves-wannabe is filming MI:3. The owner of Katie's (faux?) fuck-stick has apparently been doing his own stunts in an attempt to distract us from his lack of vertical stature and general theological looniness. Spence has a gallery of destroyed Range Rovers and other vehicles gracing the pages of his glorious site, which much like us, is "too queer for the red states, too white trash for the blue."
