What about Canuck Jalops?

That should be it, if not its on the front page of thecomedynetwork.ca

and if stuart couldn't get any play in it, it was his own fault....
I LOVED the fact that the front seats reclined back far enough that the entire interior was damn near flat.... gave more "play room" than my first apartment....
you could hoon that thing forever, and it kept asking for more. more snow drifts were jumped in that car than I care to mention.... not to mention the off roading, it performed better in loose sand than my buddies baja bug strangely enough.
seriously.... LOVED that car. Mostly BECAUSE of its foibles. the car was $500... the stereo was $1200... the memories are priceless.

And to see the slugs that infest congress try to get their sound byte/photo opp shaking their fingers at people and then handing over a trillion bucks with almost no checks and balances to parasites but then giving car makers a hard time--WTF?!
I know this will sound odd, but back in the 70s, say, with "Buy American" as the rule--the principle being you might pay a bit more or at times get a little less quality, but you were still supporting the home team and taking a long-term investment view when you bought a car--you were investing in your country and your fellow workers.
So the increasingly short sighted greed that has brought us to this meltdown probably started then when people just considered price, not origin, not working conditions, not the home team...If the US automakers go, good luck with your next war--oh, that's right, you can pay Haliburton 1000 x a fair price for everything.
And in that vein-this same congress that is interrogating the big 3--uh, spending in Iraq? Millions and millions disappearing? Ten thousand other questions? Nah, they just want to jerk around car markers.
Sorry for the rant. I should be surprised that congress is full of dumbasses?

Seems like RedState, Free Republic, and Fox News would agree. Perhaps they also have a OMG LIBRUL AGENDA?

Why not "SHO NUFF"?
Won't you give Berry Gordy some love?
12/05/08
Pete SHO? Or is it Pete's Ho?
Probably wouldn't pass muster with the lady.

SHO NUFF is awesome. It's awesome to the point where I'm about to check LA-OMV's register to see if it's taken...
Goddamnit. "The personalized plate SHONUFF is not available." Guess I don't have to buy an SHO now.

I was following along nicely until Jon pulled out the die cast of the Gremlin. Then I'm thinking "That looks like a new die cast. Who's making die casts of old AMC's? I gotta get some of those."
Meanwhile in the background, the video is going, "Blah, blah, blah. Laugh track. Blah, blah. Laugh track."

Personally, I think we should maybe give some to Ken Imhoff to start teaching DIY seminars.

Personally, I preferred the more "generic news" humor that Craig Kilborn offered. Or even Jon Stewart 5 years ago. He's just too polarizing these days (the agenda is too thinly veiled). I wonder if the new administration will put him out of a job...

As a political comedian, one kind of HAS to make fun of those in charge. Those are the ones responsible for decisions, after all.
Also, since it's mainly Democrats gunning for the bailout, isn't criticizing the automakers the same as taking a Republican stand? Feels weird, but that's how it seems.

No, you see the kind of people who think Jon Stewart is an extreme liberal are so completely deluded they have managed to fool themselves into believing they are in the "center" (I blame Bill O' for that because he claims to be a "moderate" while actually being a pretty extreme right-winger and most of these morons are willing to believe him). So even though they are pretty far to the Right they think even people who are pretty much in the center are "leftists" and "socialists".

Haven't watched the video yet (at work) and could use a good giggle to kick off the weekend and Hokie victory.
