Matte taupe is the new matte black?

I'm not against tuner Porsches, but I have two questions:
Are any ever sold in the U.S.?
How do they get past tough Euro emissions regs?

Nice. Looks purposeful, with nothing that isn't required. And it isn't orange.

Of course, the GTR is still two seconds faster...

It's one of those cars that just has the "i want one factor",i can put my finger on why or how,for example i don't want an R8,don't know why as like the Porsche it has all the right ingredients yet still lacks in something.

We really should mount a rescue effort before the pending Porsche-Switzerland War.

I think it's sexy, although that air dam looks a bit like it's punch-drunk happy. It looks like it should make a sound like, "Behhhhh... uh-heh, uh-heh."

Looks like a match for the GT-R...or more than one, as it were.

@bmoredlj: Yes, but which GT-R? The one that exists in reality or the one that exists in the minds of the GT-R fanbois?

Clearly the REAL GT-R is no match for the imaginary GT-R, so can we really be sure that this would be able to stand up to the imaginary GT-R?

@layabout: Not so! Porsche is the brand of "Bruce", which has been a running theme throughout Jalopnik since long before I got here.

I think there's a fair bit of scorn heaped upon Porsche the company for some of their pigheaded and obstinate decisions, but it's hard not to respect the cars. Well, except the Cayenne, but that's a Volkswagen anyhow. And apparently it's okay to slag Volkswagens. Even though it makes another little piece of my heart die every time we do... *sniff*
