    For the record, that's my green Audi S5 in the pictures. I played camera car and chase car while the GT-R's owner drove in the dry and light rain. In a straight line, the S5 simply had nothing for the Nissan. Once it snowed, I shared some driving chores on-track with the Jalops.


    Those of you with exceptionally fast pause-fingers might see my top-air-intake Impact! helmet in a few of the shots :)

    When you consider the price, and the performance potential with this upgrade, I think you have pretty close to track day perfection. I personally am a bit more minimalist in my track preferences, but I certainly could see this instead of a similar Porsche for many people. Yeah, I know, heresy. But there it is.

    Having spent some time in the stock GT-R, I can only imagine how crazy this car is... It must have been a blast.

    @aSoundofSleep has a bat flying around his office today.: You ever see video of the space shuttle landing or NASA X-plane test flight? They always have a chase plane to put an extra set of eyes in the air to make sure everything is going alright.

    @Steve Neill: Nope. I won't do it. Hot is a measure of physical attractiveness. The GT-R is not particularly physically attractive. If we're going to stick to the girl-to-car metaphor here, the GT-R is that girl in college who was kinda big and not particularly attractive, but every guy wanted to do her because she was mind blowingly good in bed. This car is merely that girl turned up to 11.
