Me: No

I'm just pig sick of them.

"The Plague, brought to you by Red Lobster."
Needless to say, I can't bring myself to ever eat lobster now...

Got food poisoning there as a kid. Never been back.

Now I understand what BSG is all about: Cylons are after our delicious internal organs made of tomato soup.

Summer of the shark
Bird flu
Swine flu
Mad Cow
Killer bees
Killer chimps
I could go on, but you get the idea. The media is such a joke. Oh! And let's not forget the Caylee Anthony murder case. You know what the top headline was on CNN? "TOT MOM KISSES GAL - SEXY PICS!" This is what the networks have become.

But I like how several reports on swine flu/H1N1 remind people "not to panic." Who's panicking? Stop saying that.

I can be blamed for exaggerating and overstating the size and scope of many things, but not the flu...

The media lost all of its credibility ages ago. Jalopnik is the only thing that I take seriously now.
05/04/09
Well except about taking Jalopnik seriously.
I did, until I saw they followed CNN. If they explain that it was just for a joke, and someone else sent them the link, I might take them seriously again.

Have you driven a Genesis lately? My week with that car was nothing short of bliss.
Hyundai's come a long way, baby.

It's a silent killer.

Have you seen the styling? At the minimum, it's gout worthy.

I kinda like the new one, it's grown on me after seeing about 8 or 10 of them. I actually like the nose on it (not the weird headlights). But ever since they brought the Altima out, they've been sticking the Maxima up too high, trying to make it more than it should be. "4DSC" has become "defacto luxury sedan" over the past decade. At least this one is a good step in the smaller size/weight direction. Haven't driven one yet.
05/04/09
I'm a die hard Nissan guy and think they've been going in an eerie direction with that car for the past two generations. The 4DSC moniker is more fitting of the Altima these days as it's less portly and used to come in a SE-R variant.

Not the swine flu. Nissan's stupid "Shift_" campaign. I don't even know what it means.

They say "Here, Shift_This!"

SHIT_expectations, they say.

Sad really.
Oh, and the white-and-primer '71-'72 Chevelle that just went by... at least as sporty as the Altima.
