@Mad_Science: Still though, you can't take Jalopnik everywhere. A good Car and Driver will suffice where my computer can't travel. Good journalism is always up-to-date.
@seaninc: Are you sure it ISN'T a Tacoma? This thing is even the same color as mine. It really is good to see Suzuki designing models on successful competitors. Real trucks for real people. It should be a trademark.

In a blinding flash of the obvious, the Rapidly Shrinking 2.5 have decided to axe superfluous brands (but paradoxically not GMC) and reduce badgineering. In the face of that, Suzuki boldly steps out with...a Titan! -er, the Equator!
Way to go, Suzuki. As if you weren't irrelevant enough.
@Mad_Science: In the same way that I don't think of Suzuki when I think of motorcycles, neither do I think of Suzuki when I think of trucks.
For bikes, I'll order up a Honda, Yamaha or if I can find it, a nicely restored Cushman. For trucks, a good used International, assuming the truck in the driveway isn't dead. And in neither case will there be a bike in the bed of the truck - that's a waste of both.
@POLAЯ CLAUS IS COMING TO JALOPTOWN: Or Edmonton. Not really much snow, but when it's -35C, it doesn't matter one bit how much snow you have. Even bare roads have no traction, and studded tires ain't gonna do you a lick of good.
@Deartháir and his eight little drained beers: You have cars in edmonton? being from the GTA (you know the only part of canada that matters, next to quebec) we thought you still ran around in covered wagons during the summer, and with dogs and sleds in the winter, and wrestled oil from the ground with your cold bare hands and squeezed it out of the sand into barrels.
@WheatKing: You behave yourself, or we'll stop sending any of that oil -- or money; how do you like being a "have not" province? -- your direction. Remember, the GTA ceased to be even remotely relevant a few years ago.
Yup, gazing out of my office window at the beautiful snow-capped San Gabriels. Might take the kids up to Kratka Ridge for some sledding this weekend. Or maybe we'll go blading at the beach? LA is a wonderful place.
In fairness, the Nissan Frontier, which the Equator's based on is basically what the Tacoma used to be, before they decided it needed to be 7/8ths of a full size truck.
Also: yes, it snows in California. We have mountains.
california has mountains...it snows in the mountains...this isn't news. Even the governor is shown skiing with his nympho wife on the mountains of california. and crazy weather is a sure sign of global warming. gees.

That should work (it does for me), just remove the underscore, and put the image url between the equals sign and the question mark.

The lag between reality and publish makes most of the print magazines' news sections look pretty ridiculous.
4wheel and Offroad is the last print magazine I subscribe to, and that's because I got like 5 years for $8 4 years ago.

Next think you know they'll have us believe that a while back some humans actually walked on the moon...

O shit, that's a Suzuki.
I have a well though out question: Does Suzuki build any of its own cars that it sells in the US?

What's that funny-looking giant-grilled pickup next to it? Pfeh, whatever it is, I'll take the Jeep. Hope they bring back the 4.0.

Like, they go from the Toyota dealer over to the Suzuki dealer to fill the bed.
They're looking for a cut of that action...not to mention I'd imagine there are going to be some decent bike + truck package deals going on.

On a more relevant note, as a SoCal resident, I'm shocked it snowed in fucking VICTORVILLE.
VICTORVILLE for fuck's sake!
