    Aside from being shot through a billboard, this is a nice car. At the very least, it'd be a good deal in the Frozen North; buy this one and another with some rust, a good drivetrain, and some recent suspension work...

    Call me crazy, but I would pay $2k for that car. In fact, I just bought an '84 528e for a little less than half this guy's asking price (my own PCH), and would gladly have paid the balance for the shiny red paint and the absence of a few of the issues mine has.

    I liked the fact that the commercial basically expressed that Audi was an also-ran for 30 years, variously playing second (or third) fiddle to Mercedes, BMW, and Lexus. But I digress. $2K is clearly a crack pipe considering that you can get LeMons provenance for only $433. [jalopnik.com] Plus, are those 528e 14" wheels in place of the impossible-to-get-tires-for 390MM metrics that came stock on the 535i? /BMW nerd

    When I was a kid, one of my friend's dad had the stunt car Mercedes SL that Steve Martin drive in (I think) L.A. Story. He had to replace the whole electrical system, but he did get it for a nice price. Gave him hell the whole time I remember he had it.
