When you have good action movies like Iron Man, Borne, Taken, District 13, why should they ask us to see crap like this. Why can't auto-buffs of the world stand up, and demand not only cool car chases and the occasional girl on girl make-out session, and get a good story with character development and realistic action? Why not??
Okay. On the"Hate/Not Terrible/Good/Shell-Ferrari" Scale, all of these commercials get a "Hate" except for the Volkswagen "Big Day" one...which is Shell-Ferrari worthy.
1 is a commercial by a company striving to be the best, not appealing to consumer safety groups (GM: I'm looking at you over that pulled corvette ad a few years back).
All in all, I'd say kudos to Hyundai for putting together something against all odds. I've been a staunch believer in Hyundai's continuous improvements over the past several years. It feels like they are one of the few auto companies with the passion to succeed by doing what's awesome, not what some focus group tells them (in cars and commercials).
If FromaBuick6 has to watch one more Chevy commercial, he's going to punch Howie Long in the face was starred

I'm glad to see that the 300ZX is pretty well-represented here. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the 300ZX was freakin' awesome back in the day, and still is.
#10 would have been so much better if they hadn't decided to piss on Led Zeppelin. At the time I didn't think it was so bad, but holy crap - this one looks like it was produced by a 5th grade Computer Technology class in Windows Movie Maker.

3 and 2 are boastful, as they should be.
