Not half as good as the original, Banksy.

@3wheeler: Not even since Banksy stuff started selling for a fortune and appearing in coffee-table books?

Plus, his stuff doesn't have a lot to do with cars.

All the plugs and sockets makes me think this guy has some gender issues.

It's pretty neat, but I have the distinct feeling that I wouldn't get along with the guy. I could be wrong. I like artistic people. It's the "artsy" ones that bug me.

None of this holds a candle to the artwork that local teenagers like to paint on my street's "Speed Hump" sign. It's a spray paint stencil with two people of unknown gender. Well, at least one of them is a man, or perhaps a woman with some sort of contraption.

Wonderful stuff, particularly the footprint crosswalk. The work makes it easier and more enjoyable to pay attention to your driving. And he's painting markings in places where they're needed or have worn off. Looks like an infrastructure investment program to me.

Check out Julian Beever - his street art is really amazing. Some samples:

I like the alligator and the dandi-lions, but painting squiggly lines of the road could freak people out.

Also, posting about an anti-car activist seems a little less than jalop to me.

@jbownsabmw but still wants GM to survive: If we didn't post on anti car activists we'd have to stop reporting on chrysler.

@jbownsabmw but still wants GM to survive: I think Jalop needs to be well-rounded to maintain viability. We don't want to become another Jezebel.

This guy has some serious thrill issues if he's going out into the middle of intersections to paint this stuff.
