@PowerTryp, Starless wonder.: Carl Edwards is my absolute, without a doubt, favorite driver, followed by Matt Kenseth and the other Roushketeers. But! As far as handsome goes, JJ is easiest on the eyes.
A lot of people mention Dick Trickle as having the greatest name in NASCAR history--and it's a fine one--but I still submit that having a penile euphemism for both your first AND your last name is pretty much the ultimate.
I thought you touted this guy as a Jalopnick project. Shouldn't you be the ones with the inside scoop? I hope the kid's talented and can do well for himself. But that's not enough to make me care about NASCAR.
I love seeing this presented as a topic without built-in condescension (we commenters have that covered.) As I don't get Speedvision, my tv auto fix has become NASCAR, and as a long-time fan (84 days and counting) I like seeing NASCAR getting the props on Jalops, yo.
I like Kesolowski, but I picked my favorite driver by finding the one most similar to myself (age, height, weightwise) that drove a Ford. So yeah, I'm a HUGE Jamie McMurray fan.
@eggwich: Rare and Kind of unnerving actually. It makes me think they forgot the cheap and easy punch line. We all know it's hilarious every time they make fun of NASCAR fans.
I'll be surprised if Stremme doesn't get the boot at season's end, if not before; I'll be even more surprised if Roger brings in an outsider, since Justin Allgaier is fifth in Nationwide points right now.
Too bad he can't be patient, run another year in the NNS and then drive the #5 for Hendrick when Mark Martin retires retires, again, after 2010. But this is just the beginning, I'm sure Brad will be talking to all the other big names before seasons end too: RCR, Gibbs, Roush... but it seems like Hendrick could line him up with a one year ride at Ganassi or Stewart-Haas just to keep him around 'till that 5 car opens up.
@skyln95: Not a big deal, that's just when his contract is up. I regardless of how long he could keep going I don't think he necessecarily wants to. Hendrick had a tough time getting him in the seat for '09 & '10. They'll be looking for a driver at the end of next year.

I don't think he's the greatest driver ever, but he's definitely in the top 10. I do think he is the handsomest and has the cutest butt.
