    Say what you will about George's designs but he is an absolute marketing genius. Obama would do well by putting him on his auto industry task force.


    As far as these Mustangs, they sold at auction just a few months ago for around $200k for the pair. Relatively speaking, as '60's pop culture icons, I think that was a great deal. How much more are they worth? Ask Mark Hyman in a few months.

    You know what Ben, smarmy comments, and snappy remarks really isn't necessary. Yes these were cars of questionable taste, and yes the asking price is a bit over the top. However, compare your rather tasteless write up with one that treats these cars with a little respect.

    This said, the tail lights are a sideways move, because I liked the Cougar, anyway. The Euro-spec headlights are a huge improvement all around.

    @leavethegun-takethecannoli: Also on that note, we should be seeing a 2010 'stang/retro-cher-mobile soon. There will be a flood of middle aged women (and gay men) that come out of the woodwork (and closets) to buy them in droves. They'll sell great for one year, then just hang around for another decade or so. Every time you see one, you'll shudder, and wonder "how did that ever looked good?"
