Dear Toyota,

You may think you're all that, but I invented solar-powered ventilation first, it's called wind. If your customers weren't so prisy, maybe they would roll the windows down. Oh, and I even made air filters too, they're called trees. I heard your customers like hugging them. And that sun? Yeah, I made that too. And you don't need a video to understand how to make it work, no creature input necessary.

@maximum-sienna: It started here 2 months ago, so it's almost over for me. Waking up every morning with bloody boogers for 2 months is not fun. Just washed my car yesterday for the first time in 6 weeks--because it was pointless to do it when it's filthy again the next day.

Humans were not made to inhabit Arizona en masse. Nice place to visit if you're too poor to go to the moon, though ;)

I don't like this. My farts smell like roses and I love to wallow in them. Sometimes I toot on a hot day just before I get out of the car so that I get a blast of rose-scented me when I get back in the car. This will remove my odourise flatulence while I am having tea and discussing next year's Earth Day celebration with my green-minded support group.

No, this is a bad idea, Toyota.

About 10 years ago, someone told me that certain BMW models used the windshield rain sensor to close the windows and sunroof, as needed, if you had left them open for ventilation. Seemed genius to me. This is obviously the next logical step. Some infomercial already sells something like this, but it's a little on the ghetto-mod side of things.

I have to leave all five windows cracked just to keep the car interior under about 120 in the afternoons (and it's only April!)

Jebus- Turn the car on, push in the button, turn the car off, exit the car, lock the car, walk away from the car. Why couldn't they just use a thermo-sensing switch to do it automatically? And what happens when you live in Hotlanta and it's 100° and pouring rain? And what the hell is the temperature of Ambien? Why am I asking so many questions?

Nice for early adopters, folks in the South, and a way to start mainstreaming the integration of solar panels to car bodies. But very expensive for what you get.

I leave my sunroof cracked open an inch if I'll be parking in full sun, and that keeps the temperature a bit cooler. For free. And my mom had a twenty dollar solar fan dealy that clipped onto one of your side windows that moved a decent amount of air.
