You know if you park your car wrong in some countries, there might be an ax in your back window. If you park your car in Boston after saving a spot, you might have your tires smashed in. 

Remember that sexy Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione that played around in the Boston blizzard yesterday? I don't know about you, but I had a great time ogling its sleek Italian body and listening to its luscious V8 engine.

I don't know if you guys heard about this or not, but the northeast got a teeny bit of snow the other day. Nothing too crazy, just about 30 inches in some areas. Thousands without power, people stuck on the freeways, NBD.

A few dozen inches of snow may scare most people into hiding in their homes, but those of us who enjoy opposite lock and empty roads, it's a chance to come out and play in our cars.

Do you happen to live in the northeastern United States? Then besides finding a good parking lot to do donuts in, today is probably not the best day to be driving. Or flying. Or trying to get anywhere.

In the event that you live in the northeastern United States and get your news and information exclusively from Jalopnik, then it is my duty to warn you that it's going to snow this weekend. A lot, maybe. Probably. Oh, who knows?

A Swedish man was rescued on Friday after being trapped by snow in his car (not pictured above) for two months. Amazingly the man was alive, although according to TheLocal.se he was "seriously emaciated and barely able to speak or move" when he was found.

Here's the scene. A few snowmobilers out enjoying a weekend trip on the side of a mountain. One rider falls. Another rider drives above him and triggers an avalanche, quickly consuming the man. And then the rescue begins. Movie? No, real life — and it's one of the most heart-stopping videos I've ever seen.

With a few months of winter still yet to come I can definitely say that no one is going to top this horrible driver in a Kia. Nice try Utah drivers. Good effort Seattle commuters. You simply can't top a woman driving at highway speeds in the median while trying to signal into oncoming traffic. UPDATE!
