    This car had me and my mates picking our jaws from the floor after its release. It was outrageous, it was astounding, it was epic. To a bunch of high-schoolers, this was the dream.

    I only just understood the reason for the exorbitant price of the SLR a few days ago. It must be heck of a job to try to make a car this phallic with Pfizer, Eli Lilly and Bayer fixing the price of those ED pills so high!

    If Mercedes wouldn't have gotten their grubby hands in the design process we could have one hell of a track car. And if Mclaren hadn't, um, had anything to do with anything, we probably would have ended up with the SLS?

    Where have I seen that face before? Oh yeah, a cow's skull! Very attractive *cough*.


    The front and rear look like they come from two different cars. They should have kept the standard SLR taillights.


    On another note...can this car even be legally driven on U.S. roads without a proper windshield? Seems like this should have been unveiled at Geneva or Turin.

    It better drive like pure, distilled sex. Because you'd look like the world's biggest douche driving it. There's just so much stuff there that the car doesn't need. If they charged another half mil, decontented it for lightness and did a boy racer-delete on the bodywork, it'd be a bargain.
