We're not sure what this Audi R8's owner had in mind with this paint choice for his car's sideblades. It's certainly a high-quality job, and admittedly creative, but it's hard to get around the fact that it's also incredibly ugly.

We so have the tuner for you. Prior Design's bodykit for the Audi R8 replaces the contrasting sideblades with body color fills. The effect, in their own words is, "harmonic." The colored carbon engine bay is less so.
