    Nice purchase there, Herr Gains. As it appears I live near you (That's the state to the right, in KC) I shall be prowling the backstreets of Lawrence looking for a distinctive Forest-Green SHOwagon. I'm sure not to miss it.


    BTW, apparently the Mecum Auto Auction is coming to Bartle Hall. Might want to go check it out.

    It's like the time I put an $800 bid on an Isuzu Impulse Turbo with the work computer on a Friday and freaking out over the weekend that I just might win and have to sort out shipment from upstate NY to Detroit. That would have easily tripled the cost of my investment.


    Well, except for the actual winning part, which I did not.


    Good for you, Pete. Please keep us apprised of your new project.

    @rlj676-new job, same problems: Tailgates rust out, tailgate motors (or in his case, wiper-motors) stop working, tailgate weatherstripping goes, rear side windows get busted, the gas tank is different, the tail lights are different and paintjobs cost more.


    Hopefully the floor of his rear tub isn't rusted out like mine.
