Why can't anyone get it through his head that it's just not going to be called the tD?

There was no tA, there was no tB, there was no xC, there will be no tD. Simple. If it isn't called iQ (which it should: best jab at smart ever) it'll likely just be called xE.

@PeachFingers: Definitely. The Aygo makes more sense, while filling the same niche.

I still like the iQ, however.

Hahahahahahaha...GM is in the crapper in part for over-badge-engineering and now Toyota might be doing the same thing?

How long until Ford is #1 in the world again? It's been a long time, but if Toyota's strategeries and quality don't make a turnaround soon they could start slipping.

@engineerd is only a fool in April: Well, I'm gonna say that this is slightly different than the badge-engineering that GM takes part in-- mainly because this model isn't sold in the US. If we had three rebadged versions of the SAME FUCKING CAR then we'd be on GM's level.

Unfortunately, this blurb of news is real

I was given a rental Euro IQ on a recent business trip in Barcelona and I loved it. It's roomy, quirky, and the engine and power are totally sufficient for driving in the city. The boxy design actually gives it, in the shteel , a very safe feel.

Can we Scions just be Toyotas again? Because we all know the tC is really a Celica and that the xB and xD are mostly bought by dull older folks who'd probably buy a Yaris/Corolla/Tercel snoozemobile, otherwise.

@FromaBuick6: Now with Unexplained Star: The tC is built on the same chassis as the Toyota Avensis, which is sold only in Europe.
