Sam's Club = cheap Chinese crap, or industrial quantities of stuff you don't need.

My personal favorite: "Heavy Duty Mayonnaise."

Heavy Duty? Do you put it on your sandwich or your rear axle?

Might as well put a link to "Consumerist" right now for when this deal goes bad. Because you know it will.

We used to go to Sam's a.k.a. Barter Town but then we realized that saving a couple of bucks on peanut butter wasn't worth our mortal souls.

Am I the only one who misread it as "Mullet GT"? Because "Electric Mullet GT" has a nice ring to it, and would be perfect for airbrushing on this car alongside some sword-wielding horsemen and a sorceress in a fur bikini.

That's classic; buy a $100,000 car at Sam's Club. Next they'll be telling us that the cars will be serviced at the in-house tire shops. The shops that are staffed with $10 an hour mechanics.

Not that there's anything wrong with $10 an hour mechanics, but...

I am very skeptical about Hybrid Technologies. They are part of a group of companies that keep promising great electric cars but have yet to deliver anything more than a prototype or two... I guess reading this article [www.wired.com] may have increased my natural skepticism.

I have trouble buying a TV from the place personally. I mean I like toilet paper as much as the next person but I don't have a shipping container to keep it in. A car? An electric car that doesn't say "Power Wheels"? Eh, pass.

Well it's working for the Eagles, AC/DC, and Garth Brooks...

Is anyone else just a little scared about "very first car off the production line"?

...already got the Cragars wrapped in some low rolling resistance Mickeys.

...Can't wait to drive it down to the Dog 'N Suds. It's been closed for several years, but the guys still head down there on Friday nights...

Anybody out there looking for a head of marketing position?

Something tells me that there might be an opening coming up soon at the Hybrid Technologies headquarters.

I live in fear of the day when ALL new cars are electric. I'll sorely miss the sweet hum of a good exhaust note.

a 200-mile range, 0-60 time of five seconds and a top speed of 150 MPH.

    Choose one.

I didn't realize Sam's Club was facing any sort of Neiman Marcus envy.
