The Newport Royal was priced a couple hundred bucks lower than the regular Newport; it came with less gingerbread and a 360 instead of the 383 engine, but was otherwise the same car. See, that's to get you hooked on Chryslers; the guy who buys the Royal now will go on to buy a Corboba a few years later, and by now he's in a Cirrus. Just like eating peanuts!

Here's your chance to buy the "Rolls Royce of Rolls Royces," a pristine 1954 Phantom IV H.J. Mulliner Limousine, and one of only 18 built. This particular example belonged to Princess Margaret, the only member of the British royal family known to have engaged in a life-or-death struggle with her breakfast. Phantom IVs were only available for purchase to royalty or heads of state, and came equipped with a 5.7-liter side-valve straight-eight and the all-important four-bottle "drinks cabinet."

Princess Margaret's Phantom IV was a gift from Queen Elizabeth II, who had just purchased herself a Rolls Royce Phantom IV Hooper landaulette; she wanted Margaret to have a Phantom IV H.J. Mulliner limousine, just like her first one. How sweet. No word on what kind of mileage the big Rolls limo gets, but with that back seat it sure would make a sweet summer road trip ride.

BIodiesel Royal Enfield on eBay

Reader Brian tipped us off to this little curiosity, an Indian-built Royal Enfield motorcycle powered by biodiesel. It's on eBay, and the auction closes tomorrow. It's a 350cc single, and since Enfields aren't known for their ZX-12-smashing performance, we wonder what difference the biodiesel conversion has made in terms of output. Still for pistonheads who aren't petrolheads, it's kind of an interesting toy, non?
