    I guess this will kill any chance of "The King" character re-appearing in Cars II. I suppose they could probably change it to a Torino and some wouldn't even notice.

    I have always thought that Richard Petty was a class act. I have an old VHS tape about his career and it very interesting it’s called "King Richard 43" or something like that.

    @flyingstitch and the hamsters are friends again: For one year, 1969 because Plymouth wouldn't give him something to compete with the mighty Daytona. To woo him back in '70 they whipped up the Superbird.
