Who'd have thought, twenty years ago, that the most drool-inducing object at SEMA would be a Hyundai? A MID-ENGINED Hyundai? A 500HP, V8, MID-ENGINED HYUNDAI? Surely we live in strange times, my friends. #hyundaigenesis
@Super Moose: Hey, I didn't know there were any other Jalops in attendance. I was at about the 6 minute mark, in the woods on the outside of the corner.

That was beautiful. I really like his steering technique. A combination of shuffle steering and standard race style. Relaxed and fluid. And his lines and angles are crazy. I wonder what he drives like when he's just getting groceries.
The shortest distance between two points often involves hanging the rear end out so far that you can check on its condition without removing your gaze from the windshield.
Epic. The fact that NASCAR gets at least 1,000 times more attention than this shows just how screwed-up the average American race fan's priorities are.
@LastAndLeast: No smoky, debris-hurling 15-car pileups? Inability for one hundred thousand drunken rednecks to see the whole spectacle at all times? American stupidity?

Following in his father's footsteps... this family knows how to drive.
I expect to see most of you at Pikes Peak next year - and even though you'll only see a few seconds of each car wherever you sit - you will be able to easily tell who is doing better. For example - when Rhys came by our turn this year - almost everyone agreed he was much faster than anyone in his class.

I read about how they might fit a 590hp bi-turbo V6 in it. Now that's something Koreans could be proud of. #hyundaigenesis

Rhys: "OK, now the first thing you do here is turn towards the cliff edge to initiate the slide."
Me: "Got it. Wait. What!?"
