I might be able to justify buying one of these, if I ever end up living near some sort of trackday paradise. Plus, it'd be worth a load at the 2042 Barrett-Jackson.
@Rust-MyEnemyEnjoysPleasure!!!!: Thanks, now I need to find my Sega Saturn. Was gonna be a great weekend, and now it's gone. I have misplaced the need for speed!
Someone has to say it. I can't look at this car without thinking,
That said, I'm completely jealous, Wes. The NSX was one of those dream cars I always wanted, but their lackluster performance kind of tempered that over the years. Now to see a heavily-tuned version that addresses a lot of the NSX's shortfalls is encouraging.

@Deartháir: Just going on the assumption that you've yet to drive an actual NSX.
Theres plenty of internet-bench racers that point at a 270 or 290 bhp and pass judgment. Generally the next words out of their mouths are "Supra" or "M3". Keep it coming, I'd prefer to keep NSX ownership a secret.
@PaladiNSX: Freely admit I haven't driven one. However I do fairly regularly highway race an older one -- in bright orange, and believe it or not it looks really sharp -- on my various commutes. Admittedly, my Corrado has a ton of engine work done, but I've never had the slightest problem keeping up with the NSX whenever we want to play. It's a pretty fair match, I'll admit, and I have a lot of respect, but it also can't run away from me.
@Deartháir: While i believe your highway results, I also know that 8 grand worth of fox-body mustang could also out drag an NSX. My argument is that there's simply more to the experience than highway rolls.
@PaladiNSX: Don't worry man, you're preaching to the choir here. As an option to buy today, the NSX is very high on my list. Certain cars -- the Skyline, the NSX, the 300ZX, the 190E Cosworth, the original Mini Cooper -- have a soft spot in my heart. My only opinion, regarding lackluster performance, was that it was brought out as a supercar, and was often spoken of in the same breath as Ferrari, Lambo and Porsche. In 1990, that actually wasn't too far from the truth. As the years went on, however, the rest simply left the NSX behind.
Is it still a fantastic car? Oh hells bells yeah! You have no need to defend it to me. I, too, feel the need to defend and/or justify the Corrado, especially as I have people who tell me I have a funny-lookin' Rabbit. The NSX has earned my respect.
i almost gotta call bs on that first shot because the tread on the front tire is so clear, and the back is approaching blurry. i'm no expert though. maybe i'm just super, super jealous!

you should never meet your heros because you'll be disappointed, but you didn't hesitate when you were given the opportunity?

I'm also trying to resist the temptation to start trolling eBay motors for the cheapest NSX I can find.
